At Ethnobotanysource we have developed a way of performing extractions a little different than other methods commonly used in the industry. You could say it is our secret formula.

Our extracts are not crude but are not standardized either. Crude extract is put through only one extraction and contains a lot of impurities, waxes and other lipids. Standardized is put through the same extraction method but in addition it is put through another more complicated extraction and then the chemical Salvinorin-A is separated from the remainder and then deposited back on to leaves at a predetermined amount. The resulting product is only as pure as the method.

Our extracts are extracted the first time as in crude and standardized but are put through an additional extraction to rid them of the fats waxes and other lipids.
We believe doing this as well as choosing the right solvents, eliminates headaches caused by other extractions as well as providing a much cleaner extract.
Our extraction method is stronger than standardizing and much cleaner than crude. You be the judge.

We use only the finest and safest solvents and completely dry all extractions for 24 hours at 175 degrees before packaging for shipment.
