In Thailand Motherwort is used as an ethnomedicine for an emmenagogue, diuretic, and a vasodilator. Leonurus sibiricus (Motherwort) is recorded to contain high concentrations of the diterpenes leosibiricine, leosibirine, and isoleosibirine.
